HydraMatte LipSense Compared to Original LipSense and Glosses

Have you seen the new HydraMatte LipSense lip colors? I’m seriously loving this one-step lip color more than I imagined. It’s easy to grab on-the-go, lasts for a decent amount of time, and simple to mix and match shades to create your own lip color. Plus, let’s face it, I’m not going many places these days so 6 hour wear is really all I need.😅

I can’t wait to share some of the mixes I have been doing with the lip colors, but for now let me show you how each of the permanent line colors compares to their counterpart shades.

Bella HydraMatte VS Original LipSense Vs Gloss

Bella HydraMatte LipSense is similar to our crowd pleaser Original LipSense Bella. It’s a mid-toned pink with a matte finish. Just like the original this creamy lip color is classic for all skin tones. I think out of all the shades on their own, not mixed, this one and Blu-red HydraMatte are my faves!

Blu-Red HydraMatte Vs Blu-Red LipSense

Ahh Blu-Red HydraMatte LipSense is one of my favorites like I said. Talk about a BOLD power lipstick shade. Similar to its counterpart, Original Blu-red LipSense, it is a bold red with a matte finish. Make sure you have this one in your makeup bag for date nights and to mix and match with the other HydraMatte colors!

Out of all the HydraMatte lipstick shades this is the closest match to the original LipSense color so between the two you will need to decide how long you need your bold lip to last. ;)

Nude Honey HydraMatte Vs. Nude Honey LipSense

Nude Honey HydraMatte LipSense is a soft, warm golden nude with a matte finish. This color was formulated after our popular Nude Honey Original LipSense. If you like nudes, but want a softer color then this is the shade for you. This lip color also makes it great to tone down some of the other HydraMatte shades when you mix together.

Velvet HydraMatte Vs. Velvet LipSense vs. velvet Matte Gloss

Last in the first release was Velvet HydraMatte LipSense. At first this color was my favorite of the six as it is a deeper neutral pink-brown, but I feel this lip color really darkens over time and becomes a bit too dark for me. It reminds me of Hazelnut or Nude LipSense.

Milk Rose HydraMatte vs Milk Rose LipSense

Milk Rose HydraMatte LipSense is the newest HydraMatte lip color to join the line. Milk Rose is a neutral-to-cool soft pink with a matte finish. While both lines are similar, the HydraMatte LipSense color is noticeably lighter on me than the original lip color.

Overall, you are going to want one or more of these lip colors in your makeup bag! They offer a moisturizing and quick lip color that is not only beautiful, but long-lasting. Plus, it won’t feel heavy and dry on your lips like most creamy matte lip colors.

I can’t wait to continue to play around with these and mix them! Stay tuned for more to come.
