Look of the Day | Simple Everyday Eyeshadow

Today I took it back to classic colors! If you are looking for simple, easy makeup then these are the shades for you. Not to mention they are extremely versatile and needed in your SeneGence makeup bag. Also, if you haven’t tried ShadowSense yet, Sandstone Pearl Shimmer, Moca Java Shimmer, and Garnet are a fantastic place to start.

How I applied

Once you have your base or primer layer on start with Garnet in the outer corner and blend across your crease. Work by patting the Garnet ShadowSense to keep the color more pigmented in the outer corner, think of a “V” just below your crease line. If you want this to be smokier in shade then add a touch more Garnet and drag some under your lashline to really accentuate your eyes.

Next you will pat some of the Moca Java Shimmer all over your eyelid and blend with the Garnet. Some experts will tell you to start with your lid and then do the outer corner, but I prefer starting with the outer corner so I can lighten it up some with the lid shade. I can always add more pigment to the outer corner if needed.

Lastly, I just applied a dot of Sandstone Pearl Shimmer ShadowSense to the inner corner of my eye. This helps to make my eyes appear brighter and more awake. Then popped on Burgundy Plum HydraMatte LipSense, our new one step, long-lasting, hydrating lip color.
